Yes. Every seller is a Native American artisan who applied and was verified by us, including a review of their tribal enrollment document. Each time an artisan lists a piece, they confirm it is their own authentic work, as required by the Indian Arts and Crafts Act.
Yes. You'll be asked to sign in or create a free account at checkout. That's how we send your order confirmation and tracking, and how you can see your orders and message the artisan.
Every piece is one of a kind, so the pieces in your cart are held for you for about 30 minutes while you pay. In the rare case a piece sells to someone else before your payment goes through, we cancel that order and refund you in full automatically.
Yes. You pay once at checkout, and each artisan ships their own pieces separately. You'll see each artisan's order on your Orders page.
The artisan is still finishing their shop setup and can't take payment yet. Save the piece to your favorites and check back.
Message the artisan from the piece's page. Some pieces are marked as open to custom orders, and many artisans describe their custom-order policy on their shop page. Anything you arrange together follows that artisan's shop policies.
Each artisan sets their own shipping price. If you buy several pieces from the same artisan, you pay their shipping once: the highest shipping price among those pieces.
Artisans are asked to ship within 5 days of your order. You'll get an email with the tracking number as soon as it ships. If it hasn't shipped by then, message the artisan from your Orders page.
Tracking is in your shipping email and on your Orders page. Your order number starts with NH-.
Not yet. Artisans currently ship within the United States only.
Returns follow each artisan's shop policy, shown on their shop page. Because pieces are handmade and often one of a kind, many can't be returned for a change of mind, so please read the policy before you buy.
Message the artisan as soon as you can, before it ships. If they cancel it, you're refunded in full, including shipping, automatically.
Message the artisan first; most problems are solved quickly that way. If it isn't resolved, email support@nativehand.shop with your order number and we'll review it. The full rules are in our Terms.
Refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days.
Payments are processed by Stripe. NativeHand never sees or stores your card number.
We use it to run your orders and account, and share your shipping details with the artisan filling your order. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
Native American artisans selling their own authentic work. Apply here. It's free, and we review every application, including a photo or scan of your tribal enrollment document. That document is stored privately and seen only by the NativeHand team reviewing your application.
It's free to apply and list. NativeHand keeps 10% of each sale, including shipping, and you keep the rest. The minimum price is $10 per piece.
Connect your bank through Stripe from the Payouts page of your dashboard. Your share is sent when an order is paid, and Stripe pays it out to your bank, usually within about 2 business days. Use “Open Stripe” on your dashboard to see your balance and payout dates.
Please ship within 5 days of the order, then add the tracking number on your Orders page. The buyer is emailed the tracking right away. We'll send you a reminder if an order is still unshipped after 3 days. Shipments with tracking are also protected if a buyer's card turns out to be stolen.
Cancel it from your Orders page before shipping. The buyer is refunded in full automatically, the payout for that order is reversed, and the piece goes back in your shop.
It's how many buyers have added that piece to their favorites. It's a good sign of interest. You see the number, never who saved it.
When creating or editing a listing, use the arrows on each photo to reorder them, or “Make cover” to put one first. The first photo is the one buyers see in the shop.
You report your own sales income. Stripe sends a 1099-K tax form if your sales pass IRS or state thresholds.
Seller rules are in the selling section of our Terms.
Email support@nativehand.shop. If it's about an order, include your order number (it starts with NH-, and it's on your Orders page and in your order emails).
For questions about a specific piece, such as sizing, materials or a custom version, it's usually fastest to message the artisan directly from the piece's page.
