Founder of NativeHand, building a home for Native makers to be seen.
I'm Jordan Callahan, an enrolled member of the Kiowa Tribe with Osage roots, living in Apache, Oklahoma. I grew up around incredible work: beadwork, ribbon work, jewelry and regalia made by people in my own family and community. But I kept seeing the same thing happen. Beautiful pieces, made with skill and meaning, only ever reached the people who already knew the maker. Meanwhile, buyers who wanted authentic Native work had no easy way to know who actually made what they were buying. I started NativeHand to change that. It's a marketplace built only for verified Native American artisans, where every seller's tribal enrollment is checked and every piece comes with the name and story of the person who made it. Artisans set their own prices, write their own policies and keep 90% of every sale. NativeHand only earns when they do. This storefront is my own corner of NativeHand. If you're an artisan thinking about joining, or a buyer with a question about how the marketplace works, I'd love to hear from you. You can message me here or email support@nativehand.shop. Thank you for supporting Native artisans.
